Fukigen na Mononokean can be added to the now rapidly growing list of the anime where Japanese folklore meets with modern Japanese high school life.Mononokean is a mysterious tea room.

 

There lives a man whose purpose is helping the youkai (demons and creatures from the Underworld in Japanese folklore).

 

Ashiya Hanae, a high schooler boy, who has been experiencing problems with the youkai is forced to ask for the Mononokean owner’s help and thus their adventures begin!

 

所谓驱妖，指的是将本应居住在隐世，却因为一些原因停留在现世的妖怪们送回隐世的工作。驱妖工作由妖怪庵主安倍晴斋进行，为了偿还欠下安倍晴斋的“100万怨”，芦屋花绘只得作为奉公人帮助安倍进行驱妖的工作。

 

某天，结束工作的两人回到妖怪庵，却突然收到了统治隐世的三权神之一立法的SOS。两人迅速赶往隐世，很快芦屋便被卷入了事件之中……

 

芦屋与安倍，这一驱妖组合与妖怪们的故事再次开幕.
