擁有 700 年歷史的「奧爾坦西亞王國」長久以來和平繁榮的日子，被一名男子破壞了。在某個月圓之夜，位於國防要地的科美利亞公國的魯基司公襲擊了王都，他殺害了國王及一乾重臣，並宣告了科美利亞公國獨立。自此開始，奧爾坦西亞王國迎來了混沌的時代，並開始了戰亂。史稱「葉佩特斯戰爭」。 　　叛亂發生後，經過了 3 年的歲月……王都被襲擊時，失去了父親的主角繼承其父的遺志，成為一名年輕的領主，統治歐貝魯領地，並受命出征討伐科美利亞公國的戰爭。主角於這場戰爭中，通過結識許多的戰友及敵人，漸漸地得知了這場戰爭的真相……魯基司公叛變的真相、父親寄託的意志……此時，奧爾坦西亞展開了一場巨大的震盪。
