Politicking and backstabbing appear to be the norm at the fashion magazine company led by fashion icon Ip Long (Moses Chan). On the surface, publisher Chi Wai-Man (Hanjin Tan) often tries to curry favor with Ip Long, the editor-in-chief, yet he is a snake in the grass as he purposely puts socialite Kei Wan-Wan (Ali Lee) in charge of the Advertising Department as a counterbalance to Ip Long’s influence in the company.
Though Ip Long masters office politics, a lawsuit involving a failed editorial assistant candidate called Cheung Yat-Ning (Sisley Choi) takes him by surprise. Ip Long immediately takes advantage of the situation to hype up the whole thing by hiring this grass-roots girl as his assistant..
