Short End Of The Stick
With the end of the millennial-long imperial period, three exempted palace eunuchs, Lee Suk-Kung (Wayne Lai), Tan Tin (Chan Kwok Bong) and Chan Siu-Fung (Raymond Cho) are struggling to live a normal life, they run into a swindler called Tsui Chun-Sing (Edwin Siu), who disguises as a eunuchs, and end up being sold to the Kam Family to be servants.
The domineering matriarch of the Kam household, Kam Heung (Nancy Wu), runs a rice business, which looks good, but problems persist in the family. The eldest daughter Kam Tai Nam (Lam Ha Mei) who loves cross-dressing as a man often causes trouble. For unknown reasons, the Kam village is under a curse, so Kam Heung is pressured into finding herself a husband to bring back good luck. By chance, Suk Kung becomes the son-in-law of the Kam family, which comes to them like a bolt out of the blue.
meanwhile, their rival, the Tsui family, sends Wong Lin (Natalie Tong) to go undercover in the Kam family to spread rumors, and she is caught in the dilemma between Master Kam Cheong (John Chiang) and Chun Sing. With the Kam family on the verge of falling apart, Suk Kung braves it out for his wife, yet he is still reluctant to reveal his true identity, so Kam Heung tries to conceive his child in every possible way. Though Suk Kung and his brothers endeavor to turn the tide, they make things worse, instead exposing themselves to one danger after another…
